New Online Positioning Course with Section4

I'm finally doing an online positioning course

From the day I published my book in 2019, folks have been hassling me to offer an online positioning course. I like the idea of doing one, but I never managed to carve out the time to pull it together. Last year the folks at Section4 reached out to me asking if I had any interest in teaching a positioning course with them. I know a lot of people who have taken courses with Section4, particularly the Business Strategy Sprint with Scott Galloway. The team has a reputation for producing great quality, highly engaging content, taught by world-class experts. I was honored that they chose to work with me on a new Product Positioning Sprint.

The Product Positioning Sprint

The Product Positioning Spring is designed to be a crash course in strategic product positioning. This course will give you the tools and methodology you need to lead a product positioning exercise inside your company delivered through a series of videos that you can watch when it is convenient for you. The sprint runs for 2 weeks and includes two live sessions with me, as well as an additional live session with a special guest (hint - it's Hana Abaza, head of global marketing at Shopify). The curriculum also includes a set of new case studies taken from work I have done with clients over the past couple of years including Postman, Help Scout and others. If you have already read my book, Obviously Awesome, I would consider this course to be a good complement to that and a way to get more hands-on experience with the material and concepts. If you haven't read the book, the course is a great way to go deep on positioning in a very visually engaging way with a cohort of like-minded students.

The first sprint runs April 4 to 19. The course is $750 standalone or $1000 for a membership that gets you discounts on additional courses and free access to member events with Scott, me and the other professors. Click here to learn more about the Positioning Sprint and I hope to see you in class!
